Still drinking soda? You should replace that with water.

Clean-water-in-glass.jpgIf you're trying to lose weight, or even just eat healthier, one of the first things you need to cut out is that big gulp at the gas station. Fountain drinks can contain up to 49g of added sugar per serving. The worst part about that is that sugar adds a lot of calories but doesn't actually make you feel full.

If you need that caffeine boost to get through the day, I reccommend just switching it over to plain black coffee. I know plain black coffee can take some adjustment, but plain coffee has almost no calories and gives you the caffeine boost you need.

Replacing soda with water can cut back an extra 206 calories per day, and on top of that, water has the great ability to curve hunger. So if you're feeling a craving come on, you can have some water first, and if that doens't work, you'll know you're actually hungry and not just bored or wanting a needless snack.

If you do find yourself needing a mid day snack, try Appleways Soft Oatmeal Bars! They're packed full of whole grains to keep you feeling fuller longer so you can shave even more calories off your day!
